LA DESPEDIDA

El presente blog es una actividad que el profesor de Ingles Juan enrique Cabrales nos sugirió para mejorar nuestra escritura del idioma ingles. Yo se que lo escrito no es perfecto pero me ha ayudado a darme cuenta que no es lo mismo escribir en Ingles y en Español.
Creo que esta fue una muy buena forma y divertida para el desarrollar de la habilitada de mi escritura en el idioma inglés.
En esta última entrada de igual forma quiero agradecer al profesor de la materia ya que ha sido de gran ayuda en mi desempeño del presente curso por que he aprendido muchas cosas nuevas y decirle que si el próximo semestre se le designa al 6 semestre es bienvenido al grupo.

DAY OF THE DEAD

Hi, boys and girls.

As you know on november 2nd most of the people in mexico celebrate the Day of the Dead.
I say most of the people because many of them have forgotten the celebration and they have changed the Mexican tradition for the American celebration.

Today, I want to share something about myself.

Well, Icome from a small town. So, I have differents customs than a person from the city.

I will tell you some about my custom. In my town, in this huge celebration people go to the grave yard to visit their dead and pray for them. They share with them all the things their dead liked when they were live, spetialy food such as bread mole tanales chocolate and fruit of all kinds.

People built in their house and the graveyard an arch with spetial flowers called "sempuasuchitl" and leaves.The arch represent the gate to the sky. I know that many people from the citty do not believe but I grew up believing in this custome, so I believe it.

Well in this year I could not go to my town because I had lots of homework and also I have to work on weekends, but after all, i am so happy because my father came to Tampico on Sunday and bruoght me many things from my town. He came only for one day but we went to the beach ant we took a lot of photos. On Monday morning he returned back home because he has to work but I was so happy spending time with him.

Day of the dead

Hi, boys.

I say the majority of the people because many of them have forgotten the celebration and they
have changed the custom for the Halloween.
Today I want to share one thing about me out of the city.
Well, I come from a small town, so I have a different custom than
a person of the city.
I will tell you some thing about my custom, In my town. In this great celebration people go to the graveyard to visit their dead and pray for them, share whit them all the things that their dead liked in live, especially food such as bread mole tamales chocolate and fruits of any kinds.
People in their hoses and the graveyard make an arch whit an especial flower called sempuasochitl and palma.
The arch represents the gate of the sky. I know that many people of the city this is only a legend but I grew up in this custom, so I believe it.
Well, this year I could go to my town because of I have o lot of homework and I have to work on weekends, but after all I am so happy because my father come to Tampico on Sunday and brought me many things from my town.
He comes only for one day but we could go to the beach and took
a lot of photos.
Monday’s morning he returns at home because he has to work but I am so happy.

MY COMPLAINT

This is an example of a letter of complaint, that was made by the group of 5th semester.

Dear Sir or Madame:

Last weekend my girfrien and I arrived at your popular cafetreia looking for a very nice time to espend together the motto in your window reads "where your frinds are are as spetial as you are," unfortunately your service that day did not reflect those words.

As soon as we arrived there we had chanse at a table and we waiting for almost half an hour for a waiter.

there were not to many people for this happen but I have to point out that the music was good and this help us to be patient. However, when we were finally serviced the waiter spill a cop of coffe of my new brown jacket. It cost it me 50 dollars to have it cleaned. My jacket does not look that good any more.I had never had an experience such as this anywhere.

I hope you can underteand my complaint because I want you to refound the money for another brownd new jacket.

WRITING A LETER OF COMPLAINT

This an example of the book. I only added some paragraph that was mess.

Dear Sir or Madame:

On july 16 my friends and I arrived at your inn hoping to spend an enjoyable weekend. unfortunately, because of your service, our weekend was a disaster. Since your ad says "have a fabulous time or get your money back," I am recuesting that that you refound uor money.

fron the moment we arrived, there were problems wiht the service. first, a very unfrienly desk clerk could not find our reservation. After waiting almost half an hour, we were led by another unfrienly clerk to our room. the room, which had a view of a parking lot instead of the bay, had not yet cigarette butts in the ashtrays. Dispite these problem, none of your employees apologized to us. This was not the weekend we had been looking forwar to.

service at your inn was not alwais like this. My previous visits were always enjoyable because of the courteuos service and clean rooms with beautiful views. Until things change at your inn, I will never recommend it to anyone. I expect to receive my refound shortly.

Maybe this is only a simple thouht but for me is really beatiful, so I want to shere it wiht you.

To dream anything that you want to dream, that is the beauty of human mind.To do anything you want to do that is the strenght of the human will that is the courage to succed.

SILLY QUESTIONS, BRILIANTS ANDWERS

1.- Why do you think so many people turned down Bowerman's idea?
I think that many people turned down bowersman's idea because they tought that his idea cuold not be success. they wanted to get money not lost and the Browerman's idea does not look as a good business.
2.- Why do you think Smith's profesor gave him a C on the project?

Maybe Smith's profesor found the projec a very good idea, so he traid to steal Smith's idea.

3.- Which idea had led to the most imitation?

I think the atletis shoes because every body use shoes, so the differents shoes companies have tried to get mony looking for news styles and models.
4.- Do you have any ideas for new producs ore service? what are they?
I would like to create a robot that knows how to cook and make the bed.

A CREATIVITY PERSON I KNOW

Lucy Gomes is the most creativity person I know. She started piano lessons when she was only 6 years old. At school, she was always creating interesting projects in her art class. When she was only 12 years old, she won a citywide poetry contest. her parents were very prout of her.

Now Lucy works as a sitcom writer for a popular TV show. She works with a group of writers, and togeters they have to think on fresh ideas. They also have to come come wit funny dialog for the actors on their show because the actors have to play believable caracters tha will make the audience laugh. It is not an easy job, but Lucy does it well.
She starts work late in the morning and often works until 7 or8 at night .

Lucy is very curious. she likes to travel and meet new people who have opinions that are different from hers. She often carries a notebook with her and write down what she sees and hears. Lucy tells me that these new experiences are a good source of ideas for her work. I always enjoy talking to her and am happy to know someone as bright and creative as Lucuy.

The interfacultades.

Hello everyone!

In this ocation I wan to talk abaut an activitie that the college have every new semesters the interfacultades. I know that someone does not know what it is, well here you have a shore introduction. The interfacultades are games where all the Academics units take part in order to find the betters players.They conform the big selection that represent the college. I am coursing the fiveth semester and when I was in the high schol I use to playe basketbal and after that I left it. After 3 years ago in this semester I played my first interfacultades in basktball with the team of AUCJS. The team had a good begining and won 4 games but thes last 3 games lost them.

I had decide to leaf the basketball again after finish the games because I don have enough time. Yesterday was the last wame and thaught me a beautifull thing that I had forgotten.I love basketball because it makes me feel ok.We lost the game 42 to 32points but I made 10 pints.
so have changed my idea of left the team.

Boys and Gerls the baketball is the best game around the world!

The most embarrassing ocation

One day I was taking a awalk on the beach and stopped to look at the waves.Suddenly I thought I saw some thing strunggling in the water.

It looked like a men who was having troubles swimming just then I reached for my glasses and then remembered I had left them at home.

At thet moment a big wave come and the man was gone.Suddenly I ran as fast as I cuold to get the lifeguard.

When we arrived back ata the spot where I had seen the man suddenly the lifeguard looked thruogh his binoculars. After that he said he di not see a thing at that moment I was pretty embarrassed.

The nex day I bough the newspaper there was an article abaut dolphins swiming near the shore.

A s son as I read the article I realize that I had seen a dolphind in the water not a man!.After that I never went anywhere without my glases again.

Couples in my town

In my town If young cuoples want to get married they must first get the permision of the parents.generally the youn man satrts by visiting his future wife`s family becauseis a good way to get along with them.

The meetings are in order to the couple ealize if they are really sure to get maried. If the relationship does not work the couple just say good bye.

Even if in my town there aremany couples that does not are maried they just live together.

By the way I have many friens living in this form.They had told me that is better because in thes way you don not spend alo of mony in weding provided that they do not have childrens because all the things changes, more responsability and is the law to get married.

Well but is no may case.I am 21 years old and I donot have hurry to get married but when it comes I hope to chose the betther dicition, jajajajajajaja.

I have a job

hello friend! How are you doing?

Let me tell you a about the wekend, well actuly I am stdiying a major in teachig English because I like to teach and help people.

The last Tursdeay I had a call from a afriend, it call had as propous asked me to work whit him in a open high school on wekends, so I said yes but one hour later my mind gets a little comfuse because I had never worked.

I bigining to feel scare but I thought in some words that my father toll me when I was a child. "You can not live whit fear and before achieve you must belive."

The group that I have is big, it has 30 students, their age is between 18 to 30,so you can see that the work is no so easy but i know that I can make it.
I hev to go because I have to preapre my next classes inforn of my group.

my exiting weeken

Hello everyone!

The las weeken was so exiting for me because I went visit two beautifuls cities.

first the city called Tecomatlan form Puebla State located around 5 huors form its Capital Puebla.

The porpues to visit this city was to take a comference about the las Olimpics Games, it started at 10am and finished at 1pm

After the conference I went to sweem in a bathing resot, I spent all the afternoon to sweeming whit some frends.

Then all the group took a realy short rest because at 12pm of Saturday we left this beautiful city becaause hab been planed to visit Mexico city. We arrived a little late because of the trafic jamp but we had enough time to take a walk for all Chapultepec and the Zocalo.

The trip was was pretty fast but i had the chanse ofet a beautiful girl of the gruop, her name is Ana Eloisa. She is from Sant Carlos from Tamaulipas State.

The bus left Mexico city at 10pm toward Tampico city and all the way my new frend and I were tolking about us.

Finally we arrived at 6am of Monday and we had to say good bye.I will miss her but i hope to see her again.

The trip was tired but I enjoyed because I met a new frend and I kwon new things about Mexico city.

The Atescal Lake

Molango city is located in Hidalgo State overage 5 hoares by bus from tampico.the wether in this city is a little could and cloudy espetialy at nights , it is due to the forest but during the summer and spring the wether is great.

All the visitors come to Molango because they come mto enjoy its wonderful lake known as "Atescla Lake." that is located only at one kilometer out form the city.

In this earthly paradices you can find a big park around the lake where you can take a walk or ride a hourse. If you rather you can sweem in the lake but is alittle dangerous if you don know to swem or vist the isle that is on middle of the lake also you can fhising your own fhis and cook it, if you prefer of course. By the way, if you cant get your aun food you do not to have worrie about it because in this please there are many restaurants where you can enjoying tradicionat food such as enchiladas, mole, and tacos, etc.
I f you want to stay there for one more day you can rent a hut that is not very expencive around $100 per night.
I am allready visited this beautiful place and I enjoyed it. so if you want to spend a great time with your family, alone or with an important person the place is perfect.

Today I want to share another experiense of may life.

to be in the college has been the most important chanse for me. Why?

Because y come from a big fmily 6 sisters and 2 brothers and any of them could not to finish a career. Well, whe I desided to stare a career in English my older brother Enrique told me if had the wish he is goint to pay the college for me but whit a condition. Give my best.

When i started the career was so hart .

My first dificoult was to live in in a new city where I did not know anyone in another hand my English was not so good, it not easily.

There were days that amost I gave me up but had been helpful an expression that my father told me and now I want to share whit you."Before achieve anything you must believe it.Think abaout it !

if you are my situation, let me tell you thaqt never is late.

Now tanks of of all my teachers and my own efort I improved my English in the last Agoust I started the fiveth semester .

Maybe I do not have the most high grades but I think I am doing well.

I will keep on giving my best because I know that is the only way to get succes.

Babo San Lucas

Toady I wan to mention somethin when I fineshed the bachillerato, well,in that time i had not desided what I wanted so left my studies for one year .

A frien that I knew in the school invited me to work in Cabo San Lcas sourth Baja California a tourist placeand and of course I take the chanse
when I was living there I got a lot of experiences soch as livin along, to be more responsable , care by myself coke and earn my own mony.

Cabo San Lucas will be an inolbidable experience because it was no only work also I knew a wounderfoul place The Arcos and beach like Tule, Faro and Amor.

If you are ther you cant left to visit The Arcos because in thise place you can find also the fomous Arcos a stone with the shape like sourth Baja California afther the Arcos The Cortez sea and then the open sea
If one day you have the opotunity to go there just do it because velibeme it will never fotget

I liveed thise experince in two ocations and I could live this many more times.

hello everybary,first of all I want to say,wellcomen in a new semester!

this short paragraph is going to talk about me. well, may name is Pedro Garcia Mendez, I am tweny years old ,1.65 of heght you can see that I am a little short jaja.

Icame from a small tawn from Hidalgo called San jua Huazalingo.

I am the kaind of person who likes to talk laugh,and make friends so Ithink that a vry sociable.

I avoid the persons who like to smoke ang getting problemes. They could be a bag influence for me but I do not mind meeting with them whereas they do not mes with me.

I enjoy playing basketball Ido it every times Ican.

when I was in the bachillerato I played with its team for one year.

My favorite basketball player is Michael Jordan the best player of the world.

Maybe it is enough that I already told you about me but there is one more thing that i would love to talk about.

I the picture you can see a baby right? okay he is my son his name is Henry he is only one year old.

I love him and every day I miss him because he lives far from me .

I thing he is the best thing that could had happend me in my life but he lives with my family. The say that is bether for him because I could not take care him like them.

I never mentioned his mother because I do not talk about her she is the past another history.
